Possible Wedding Reception Sites

Cookie Cutter Wedding Favors -
Is it that special day in your life yet? You know the one with wedding bells, cake, laughter, love, and rice. Uh, I meant bird seed of course. Anyway, if that special occasion is upon you, then you've probably already got everything planned out to the T. Am I right or am I right? Surely you made a wedding checklist to ensure that nothing crucial or miniscule is forgotten. However, you don't want to merely focus on the wedding itself. You also have to consider the after-events. For example, where will your reception be? Have you decided on a sunny location, or an indoor gathering? There are just so many questions and concerns when it comes to tying the knot. If you are feeling a tad overwhelmed, you can always get a hand from your trusty computer. Get online and check out the most popular wedding reception sites. This can save you oodles of time. What are the absolute best wedding reception sites? Do you have any clue? Well, if you already got married, then you may have an idea of at least one. Did you go for the shade in the park kind of reception or the sandy beach kind of get-together? Either is okay in my opinion. It really just comes down to taste I believe. I thought that my brother and his wife chose one of the coolest wedding reception sites I had ever seen. It was in Cedar Falls, Iowa at a nice little park. The weather was good and we all had a blast eating and consuming massive amounts of alcohol. Okay, it was actually water. I certainly don't want to send the wrong message here. They said they had spotted this and a few other potential wedding reception sites just by cruising through the state. That shocked me for some reason. Definitely an old-school method of finding things. I prefer my Mac notebook. If you are having any trouble finding the most ideal wedding reception sites, it's high time to get on the web. Simply open up Google and start typing. Punch in the key words "fabulous wedding reception sites" and you'll be well on your way. Who ever said that planning a wedding had to be a difficult task? It just got a little easier with the World-Wide-Web at your fingertips. Good luck with those wedding reception sites and Congratulations.

Matching Wedding Bands

Used Wedding Dresses -
Many newlyweds decide on matching wedding bands for their wedding day. The tradition of the bride and groom wearing matching wedding bands began many years ago and still continues in many cultures today. Some couples decide to design their own matching wedding bands. They might consult with a jewelry design expert who will take their vision and craft it into two rings that reflect their own individual tastes. In this case the matching wedding bands can either be exactly the same or be similar. The bride might decide on a more elaborate design while her husband prefers something simpler. The size and cut of the diamonds can be the same even though other characteristics of the rings differ. Other couples decide on matching wedding bands that they find at the jewelers. Depending on their budget the choice can range from a simple band to something that is covered with diamonds. When you go to look at the rings youll be surprised by how many different sets are available. Matching wedding bands can be purchased in gold, silver or platinum. The most popular choice in matching wedding bands is gold. Many couples opt to purchase a band that has a single diamond in it. The band that the women wears may be slightly thinner than the one worn by her husband and the womans diamond is often larger as well. Choosing matching wedding bands that also complement the womans engagement ring is a consideration. There are matching wedding band sets which include the bands worn by the man and the woman as well as the engagement ring. In this case the bride and grooms rings are often exactly the same although hers will be smaller. The engagement ring will differ a bit but still reflect the same design found in the matching wedding bands. In the past tradition dictated that the man would choose the engagement ring on his own and that would foreshadow the design of the matching wedding bands. Most couples now visit the jeweler together to choose the rings. You can purchase matching wedding bands from a local jeweler. They will spend time showing you the rings and explaining the size and clarity of the diamonds. They will also offer free ring sizing so the rings will fit perfectly during the wedding ceremony. Purchasing matching wedding bands online can also be an economical choice. Many online retailers are able to offer a discount because they dont have the overhead of a store. If you do purchase your wedding bands online be sure its from a reputable website.

American Wedding Invitations

50th Wedding Anniversary -
Me and my wife get along pretty well on everything. We have had very few fights since we first got together. Even when we were getting ready for marriage, we had very little to argue about. We are both pretty strong willed, but we have learned how to work together flawlessly. There is, however, one area in which we disagreed and sometimes argued: wedding invitations.
I was a big fan of all American wedding invitations. I wanted our invitations for wedding to sparkle. I wasn't really into calligraphy or soft colors, and I certainly wasn't into a crafty, homemade look. I wanted something that was direct, bold, and to the point. If it was clever, all the better. Most importantly however, it needed to have a slick and straightforward design.
My wife, however, had much different ideas about the ideal American wedding invitations. She was all about do it yourself wedding invitations. Of the two of us, she is definitely the artist, but I am the businessman. She thought that her idea of American wedding invitations was better than mine because it showed more art. On the other hand, I thought my ideas were better because they showed greater propriety. To me, American wedding invitations should look professional and well made. The ones on so-called fancy paper with uneven grains have always looked cheap to me. I know that they are actually quite expensive to buy, but that is hardly the point. I have always thought that American stationery should dispense with the quaint and crafty in favor of the sleek and modern.
Finally, we compromised on the American wedding invitations. I got to chose the paper and the layout, and she got to choose the font and the content. This allowed her to get the formal lettering that she likes so much, while allowing me to have the straightforward and modern design that I have always admired. It made us both pretty happy, but to this day we do not discuss the fight we had over American wedding invitations. After all, we are getting along so well. Why bring up an old scuffle, no matter how small. Before that point, I could never have pictured myself getting into an argument about the look of American wedding invitations. It just goes to show you that you never know until you try something. Weddings are very stressful, and it is always surprising how the stress boils over.

Custom Wedding Rings

Wedding Packages -
Have you found that special someone? You know, the one that makes your heart go pitter patter? Well, one thing is for sure, when it happens you will know it. The whole "seeing fireworks" thing is not a mere figure of speech. There's just a natural bond that draws you closer and closer. Eventually that big day comes. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the bells are ringing. Your wedding day can certainly be an occasion to remember. Since this special event can creep up rather quickly, it is prudent to be prepared. Have you considered wedding rings yet? This can be a wishy-washy subject. You like something, and then you don't. You're considering one style of ring, but then you're not sure if it is the best one. Yep, that sounds familiar to me. Fortunately these days you're not limited to the small selection of wedding bands found in the local jewelry stores. In fact, custom wedding rings are well within your reach. Have you considered custom wedding rings for that big event? Now, I want you to stop and think; how many times are you planning to get married in this lifetime? Well, hopefully your answer is one. This means you should vastly consider all options at hand. Your primary goal is not to find a beautiful wedding ring, but to find the absolute perfect wedding ring for your sweetheart. This can not always be accomplished at the local mall. You may have to delve into the world of custom wedding rings. I remember when I decided to pop the question. This stirred a great desire within me. I had to find the perfect engagement ring. This meant exhausting all options regarding custom wedding rings and engagement rings. I turned to my trusty laptop for assistance. After hours of browsing a variety of websites specializing in custom wedding rings, I had found the one. Or should I say, created the one. Yes indeed folks; there are actual websites that allow you to design the ideal wedding ring, online. I knew from the start that I wanted a platinum band with a heart shaped diamond and two sapphires on either side. This was my creation. If you are interested in custom wedding rings, then I suggest you get searching. Searching through cyberspace that is. You can easily surf through a variety of web-stores that offer custom wedding rings for reasonable prices. Make that special ring the perfect ring.

Fall Wedding Bouquets

The Wedding Photographer -
Though June has always been the most popular month for weddings and late spring/early summer the most popular season, more and more couples are deciding to have a fall wedding instead of the traditional summer affair. Not only is it usually less expensive to get married in the fall due to a lower demand for wedding rentals, reception and ceremony venues, and caterers, its often much more beautiful. Its tough to beat the explosion of fall colors as a backdrop for a wedding (though granted, the weather can be a bit tougher to plan for). One of the centerpieces for any wedding is the wedding bouquet. Wedding bouquets can range from the simplicity of a single red rose to the extravagance of nosegays bespeckled with jewels or pearls costing thousands of dollars. Next to the dress, the bridal bouquet is perhaps the most visible accessory to the bride, and therefore one of the most visible accessories to the entire wedding. Fall wedding bouquets usually vary considerably from their spring and summer counterparts, both in the types of flowers used and the colors combined in the bouquets. Most contemporary weddings incorporate some sort of color scheme, and fall weddings are no exceptions. Many fall weddings incorporate at least some hints of the gorgeous fall colors, often working in some shades of orange, yellow, or red into the flowers and decorations, since soft pastels have a hard time competing against the bold foliage. Fall wedding bouquets usually incorporate at least a few of these colors as well, placing the fall color explosions into the hands of the bride. Some flowers particularly fitted to fall wedding bouquets are white, yellow, and orange roses and calla lilies. Usually its advisable when designing your fall wedding bouquet to avoid using too many fall colors, since you probably dont want your bouquet to exactly mirror the trees outside. A hint is all it takes, usually in a shade of red, orange, or yellow. White flowers provide a great backdrop for this splash of color, and allow your bouquet and your wedding to seamlessly blend contemporary color with traditional elegance. Once you have the bridal bouquet decided on, its time to move onto the flowers for the rest of the ceremony and reception. Though its customary for the bridesmaids to carry flowers similar to the bride, dont feel so constrained as to make all of the flowers in the wedding to mirror the bridal bouquet. Though the rest of the flowers should coordinate with the bridal bouquet, feel free to have fun with your floral arrangements and combine coordinating colors and types of flowers to create a custom feel to the flowers of your wedding.

The Intrigue of Celebrity Weddings

Unusual Wedding Favors -
Often times, after reading about celebrity weddings and what the cost was, I wonder why they bothered. These lavish celebrity weddings amaze me. Some celebrities spend millions of dollars to wed and pamper their guests when they simply get divorced within a few years. Sure, they may have thought that when they said 'til death do us part', they meant them. However, many celebrity weddings end in court cases not too long afterwards.
I admit though, I love to look at photos of brilliant celebrity weddings. I love seeing their gowns and the decorations. The cakes are always unique and extravagant; I imagine they taste just as wonderful as they look. I also love to see pictures of the guests to see how many other celebrities were in attendance. Celebrity weddings are always a top priority for the media and attract more attention than they probably deserve. Of course, some celebrity weddings have resulted in what seems to be happily ever after. There are some famous couples who have been together for a very long time. I think that's wonderful.
Many celebrity weddings are held out of the country to attempt to avoid the paparazzi and media attention. They try to keep wedding dates and locations top secret to further avoid the attention. Sometimes they are successful but once the media even has an inkling that there may be a celebrity wedding, they will camp out for days for that photo opportunity. And let's face it, celebrity weddings provide for some photos that probably pay some big money. When photos do surface from celebrity weddings, brides-to-be cut out photos and carry them around with them. They want their cake to resemble so and so's cake, they want their hair to be done like the celebrity's was. Brides want to wear dresses that a particular celebrity wore. It can create much admiration and a determination to have a wedding that may be similar to some celebrity weddings. Many fans planning their weddings will find out where the celebrity couple spent their honeymoon and attempt to visit there as well. Unless there is quite a bit of money to be spent, being able to reserve the same locations that celebrity weddings took place or visit their honeymoon destination, a simpler plan needs to take place.
I can't help but wonder, if you are invited to celebrity weddings, what in the world do you bring as a gift? I mean, you're attending a wedding of a celebrity - what can you get them that they don't already have? I'd like to just have the money that is spent to have one of these lavish celebrity weddings. I'd even take a quarter of the money. Or many an invitation.
